No Fire!

Alright, 1980 150... Freshly top to bottom rebuild.... Had it running for about a month.. maybe 15 miles on it or so... Mostly just letting it idle in the garage. Had it running last night and heard a pop toward the rear cylinders... started running rough.. I shut it off, and tryed to start it... No fire.. It would fire every once in a while, but very rough and had to keep feeding it alot of gas to get very little responce... All plugs wires all that are brand new... Whole engine is new. Any Ideas??? Timing was just about perfect.. I dunno where to begin.

Thanks,

William

Which engine are we discussing?

If that 'pop" was a mechanical sound, it could have been a valve going south or something else equally annoying.

Try getting compression numbers and see if one or more cyliders aren't up to pressure.
