Special OBD Codes?

My Service Engine Soon light came on and I hooked up a cheap code reader.

0181 = I have that code in the book
0401 = I have that code in the book
07E5 = Not in the book, Meaning?
058A = Not in the book, Meaning?
E538 = Not in the book, Meaning?

Does anyone know the E and/or A codes for a '99 small V8?

Thanks

It is an OBD2 reader. "Creader", comes from Harbor Freight, will read codes and erase codes.

These are not valid OBDII codes but I did see one place where others had a similar experience to yours.

I did see where creader is an OBDII reader for vehicles since 1996.

I wonder if the plug was loose or something.

Maybe this is the way it picks up Ford specific codes, and it cannot deal with them correctly.

Usually these are in the P1xxx range, if memory serves me correctly, that very well could be wrong.

It is not a simple HEX to DEC conversion ( these still don't make sense ).
07E5 = 2021
058A= 1418
E538= 58680

I don't know how an Actron would handle Ford specific codes either, never saw it myself. Anyone ??? I don't think I can pffer any SWAG for this either.

I have a Creader and have seen these Hex type codes at times along with the 401 I was repairing for at the time.
I would not be concerned about them. Fix the known codes and you will not see these other codes afterward.
