vomiting spark plugs

Question vomiting spark plugs

my lightning has 45k on it know and has a new head put on it by the dearler at 15k because it spit out the spark plug and runed the threads. and know it has happend again. i have put on a k\n filter throalbody and thats it. im still running 8psi boost. i dont know what to do to stop this problem. shoud i take it back to the dealer and say sumthing? if any has had this problem let me know what you did. maybe it will help me.

Try posting this same topic over in the Lightning forum, and I bet you'll get a lot more responses. By the way I own an '03 shadow grey Lightning, but my block came with extra threads for the plugs so I wouldn't have the problem you are having. Good Luck

They probably replaced it with the same head as went out the first time?

If mine goes out I will have them put steel inserts in the heads on my truck.
The problem is the heads are made of aluminum and they have problems blowing out sparkplugs because of it. The only other thing that might have happened is the the spark plug worked it self loose and jackhammered its way out.
