BBK underdrive pully?

does anybody have any idea or experience with BBK underdrive pullies - are they good? also, are they supposed to be designed for the 4.6/5.4 engine. I did a search here for BBK but nothing came up, everybody seems to be runnin' troyer pully's. (i know troyer performance is the best, i just may have found something that saves me some $$$)i figured all pullies would be about the same but i'm making sure to ask everybody here before i do anything stupid!
thanks for your help and responses!
John

Smile bbk pully

bbk pullies are good. It all depends on personal preference. Me personally I would go with the brand that is trusted. I have the troyer pullies and have not had any problems.

Are the gains worth the money? Can you feel it with the butt dyno or is there any mpg gains? This is something I would like to do some time, just don't want to waist my time.

I don't know about E-Bay, but I found Mac's for $123 at Brenspeed.com

I've been eyeing them myself.

I have the bbk underdrive pulley on my truck. Bought it from summit for about $150. I noticed a difference in power when I put it on. I pull a 17ft camper with my truck and i noticed that it did pull it a little better with the pulley than it did without. Here is the link to it from summit. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

The key difference in the pulley sets is the crank pulley. The Troyer set is the only set that I am aware of that has a replacement crank pulley with a built in harmonic balancer. The other sets require you to piggy back their crank pulley on the stock pully. If you do not get it on there right then this can cause your engine to knock. For this reason I am gonna do the Troyer set when I get pulleys.

I've never been a fan of the underdrive pulley, but back in the day when I used them I used the BBK's on my mustang. Bought them on ebay for less than $50
