I have noticed over the last several days when I start my vehicle up that I get a heavy gas smell coming from the exhaust. In reading some of these posts - I see where some are getting 15/16 mpg - I am lucky if I get 12/13 mpg. Is this a sign of the engine running too rich? Any suggestions on how to correct?

 

Your truck always runs rich when it starts up, so that's not a big deal.
