hey guys, im looking into buying a truck with this engine, and the automatic tranny setup, it currently has 24k miles on it now, and i want to know if there is anything that i should look for when i go to the dealership to look at it?

Yes, I have a 2003 F150 with the 4.2 V6 enine set up. My advice is to get the V8. You will be glad you did down the road. If you think gas milage is an issue, the 4.2 v6 does not get better gas milage. I get an average of 14. It sucks. That is just my 2 cents worth.
