1500 for forged internals... and about 3500 or more for a blower. then u will need to upgrade the drive train so it can handle the added tq.

I'd have to say either stick a supercharger on your current 4.6, or find a decent 5.4 PI and swap that in there. I"m sure the 4.6 SC'd would have more power, but probably also cost more.

That's alot of rubber you have to deal with.

How big of a boat are you pulling, even with the 4.6, having 4.88's in there shouldn't be too bad.

Truck looks f'ing sweet Man.

Well the boat is 18ft. Man my truck looks nothing like that now man wait till I post the new ones with the new wheels next week then tell me whet you think. Anyways it starts off fine but when you hit a hill pullen it is hurten. I know pre 99 4.6s make more power than 99up 4.6s with PI heads on them becouse it has more compression.

the 99+ 4.6L has 15 more HP and torque then the pre 99's and its the same compression...

I was thinking about putting long tube hedders on my truck. If you were gonna remove the cats you could put those in their place!!

swapin the heads is alot of work but u get alot from it on these engines more see 35-40hp gains from doing PI head swap and the intake manifold to go along with it.. increases fuel economy also raising the compression from 9.5 to 10:1 with the PI head swap.

they only make long tubes for the 5.4L trucks they not longer mass produce 4.6L headers for the f150..to many test fit problems. but i just bought a set of gibson shorties that are 409 stainless work fine for me. if i want to make em long tubes there is a guy here in town who does custom long tube headers for my NHRA buddy's cars and he said he can cut my collector off and lengthen the pipes for few hundred bucks.
