What's the problem max? I rarely agree with Zap, but it doesn't make much sense to be such an *** and do what you've done here. Is there something more we should know? I've read Zap's gripe about you, but heck, why not explain your point of view? There must be some reason why your being so childish.

Are we all 4 years old? Can we not reason? Grow up kids. This is the last thing the board needs here. GD is great for this namecalling, but why spread it to the useful forums?

I really would like to learn about torque managment. Can we have this thread back now?

 

I looked at the Chevy thread, and learned that the pcm is very busy whipping the timing back and forth to accomplish various things.....learned something.
My problem is that my present tune seems to have almost no backing off, as I launch hard and have to back off the gas to keep any traction.
So, what do we do to help this?

 

And theres a problem with that because I don't really like the torque management systems, if I gun it, I want to know that I am recieving all of the available power, not what the computer thinks I need.

 

i think posting this in the computer section might shead more light on what can and canot be done to torque management.
