question on connecting rods on a 302

question on connecting rods on a 302

Is there a right way and a wrong way to put the rods on the piston? I didn't know if it made a differance on how the rod was turned.

Yes. The pistons will have a mark pointing forward to help you orient them.

It does. The large end will have a larger chamfer on the side that goes against the crank.

Are you using full-floating wrist pins?
