well guys got the news back and "hcmq", you were right, 2 cylinders with water in them and 2 bent rods so, 3,000 dollars later, I'm gettin her fixed up to sell her out....Can't really complain I've had her since 99, but that is just ridiculous that you don't have some warning beforehand. I never had a problem with her, then bam..... But, you know how that goes, god forbid you don't tighten your gas cap tight enough your check engine light goes on till you finally turn off the engine, retighten the cap and drive a few miles... but blow an engine or smoke up a bit and hell no news on the dashboard, just kinda gotta guesstimate.....That's a Ford I guess, The funny thing is I would fight to end when someone put down a ford, but, I guess they were right, found on road dead, is exactly what happens. Oh well, live and learn, the pain is over. Good luck with your trucks guys and thanks for being so informative.

3 grand? I hope they are replacing the entire engine for 3 grand not just fixing a few problems.

Good luck with that.

Yup New Engine,1,300 Through My Mechanic Then I Gave Him 1700 To Put It All Back Together. He's Extremely Honest And Very Well Known In The County, Found Through My Original Mechanic, Who Doesn't Do The Inside Of Engines, So I Trust Him, But I Have It Sold So I Need It Back In Excellent Running Condition, Can't Sell A Lemon, At Least I Wouldn't Want Someone Doing That To Me , So The Truck Body Will Have A Little Over A 100,000 But Everything Else Will Be Brand Spankin New... Pretty Great Deal For The Next Owner, God I'll Miss Her Though, She Was Good To Me I Guess I Owe Her A Break.....lol
