Need Advice on Plugs

Hey folks. I need your advice on a preventive move I'm thinking about. I've read all about the plug removal problems in Ford trucks. I've got a 2004 F150scab with all of 16,000 miles on it, and was thinking about having the plugs removed, checked, and maybe anti-seized before encountering a problem down the road. I asked a dealer service manager about this, he agreed it might be a good idea, and quoted me all of 150 bucks to do it. This particuliar service department is pretty good. I've dealt with 'em before. I hate to pay it, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than a head. What do you guys think about this?
If this is a good idea, what is the best anti-seize/anti-corrosive product to use?
Anything else I need to consider? Thanks for the help.

what engine do you have? This is really only an issue on the 3V 5.4l engine.

If you dont have the tools/time/patience to do the plugs yourself, $150 isnt a horribly bad quote for pulling the plugs, its about in line for a dealership.
