I recommend either a Volant or S&B, you can get both of them from http://www.jusnesmodified.com/store/

They both have a closed box design with the Volant having the option of the ram air tube.

The S&B is just like the Volant without the ram air tube option. Has a clear top on the air box, so you can see the filter and $50 cheaper than the Volant.

That site doesnt have any parts for the previous F150s, only the '04-'06 F150s...

To the original poster:
The airaid is one of the more highly recommended ones around here.

Ooh, sorry, just noticed that

Do a search and you should get more posts than you care to read on which intake is supposedly the best. They pretty much all do the same thing

Go with name brand, ie K&N, Volant, etc. Don't get a cheapo ebay $25 kit, or try to build it yourself out of exhaust tubing that is waaay to small like some people on here.

I don't see how you can justify $200+ for a kit that will add maybe 3 hp. You will never notice a difference so take the $200 and use it towards a programmer, exhaust or something that you will notice a difference from adding.

If you want to add one for looks, then get one of the cheapo kits from e-bay but be sure to ask others who have bought the same kit how it worked for them before you buy it.

Just my $.02

My $350 exhaust did little to nothing in the power department. The $300 Performance Igntion? Was good, but not as noticeable as I had hoped for. Runs much better though. By far the best HP gains I've gotten is from my K&N FIPK.
