F-150 2001 Screw 4X4 5.4 Lariat
Last sunday two ft. snow twenty three degrees started truck to move to remove snow started fine sudenly oil light came on oil idiot light came on, shut truck off, restarted preasure up light off went out, gauge up, went out again then back up light out. No noise. Used truck to go to store everything fine. Next day same thing, rest of week everything fine, saterday same thing. Could it be a dirty conection on sender. 80,000 miles.

Most likely a faulty sender switch.

Located just forward of the filter on the oil filter adapter assembly.

Pretty common failure.
