5 qt Oil Change On 5.4
update
So, I go to the Service Manager and he takes my 150 to the garage. 15 minutes later my truck has the oil level to the middle of the "zone".
mgr: "sorry for the inconvienience"
customer: "no problem,. So who is right? The Vehicle manual which says 7 qts or the service invoice that says 5 qts?"
mgr: "well we only put 5 qts on all our invoices(and in all engines), we just 'eat' the rest. You only took another 3/4 of a quart" (oh ok How am I to know that was the actual amount?)
customer: "so you put 7 qts of oil in my truck?" ( apparently not)
mgr: "sorry for any inconvienience"
customer: "ok" ( I ain't goin back there)

I've had similar problems with another Ford store in town when I took my Focus in for oil changes (sidebar - yeah, I could have and eventually did start doing them myself, but I hate working on my own rides...). Their invoice constantly said 5W30, when it called for 5W20. Called them up and asked, "Oh, we put 5W20 in it." "Then why does my receipt say 5W30?" "We put 5W20 in it though..." Um, sure, okay.

At the very least, I'd be writing a letter to the GM of the dealership and telling him/her I'm taking my business elsewhere.
