Has anyone dyno'd a stock 5.4L 24V V-8 engine, on a Supercrew chassis, 4 wheel drive. Was wondering what horsepower was to rear wheels? 300 Hp supposedly, from engine, per manufacturer! If so, do you have results?

 

i belive it is 285 rear wheel

 

Thank you for the reply, but sounds too high, I'm thinking 200 to 220 HP.

 

Also, if mods were made and then dyno'd what were the results?

 

i believe the hp is about 260

 

Stock , my '04 5.4 3V 4x4 Supercrew made 199 at the wheels. Most are in the 200-210 range. It also had A/F's in the high 14's and low 15's in stock trim. Now that it has been properly tuned by Mike and crew, it is making 245 at the wheels and the air fuels are 12.6...

 

from what i have read and heard stock the new 3 valves make 200-220 HP to the wheels

 

As stated above they make about 200 - 220 Hp stock and with the mods I have I made 250 hp and 331 torque on a warm and humid day. If you need more HP call Mike Troyer he will hook you up!

seems sad to me. i also asked this question a few days ago and 200 hp just seems sad. all that displacement from a 5.4 and 200 hp sad sad sad in my opinion!
