hey, i have a 1989 f-150 5.0L with a 5spd (4 spd with o/d) but i was wondering will a mustnag FI motor fit without any or little modification ? ie bolt to tranny, motor mounts at the same ? thanks

 

Its the same motor more or less, with some slightly different internals. The mustang motor is a roller motor, with the HO camshaft. (I don't remember if the heads are the same or not, the mustang has E7TE heads) Yes it will fit, but there will probably be some different vac lines and elect conections

 

it's a lot different.
you'll need to swap computers, harness, etc.
yes it will bolt right in... but you'll need to change more that just the motor.
