Just throw the stock one back on, and screw the Ebay intake. Yeah it will work, but whats the point of spending 30 or so bucks on one of those when its not going to do a damn thing.
So, Id just put the stock one back on, keep the 30 bucks that you would spend on the Ebay intake, and save it so you can put it towards your new good intake.

Did this start happing right after you put on this homeade intake, or right after the tires or something? I know my tranny is WAY sloppier after putting on the bigger tires.

Yeah it happened when I put on the intake. The tires are not much bigger then stock so I cant see that causign a huge difference. If this doesnt fix it then I'm going to put back on my 245/75/16's and see what happens.

Here are some pics of the intake I made for my truck, there not very good bec the camera is crappy.

If it happened right after you put the intake on then obviously thats the problem. In your case; Stock intake=#1.

I put back on the stock intake about an hour ago, and I'm not too sure it fixed it totally. I didnt get to clean the MAF and IAT sensors so maybe thats it but not sure.

I think that the shape and size of your intake is certainly part of the problem. In addition, if you have an auto trans and those pitiful 3:55 rear end gears or a worse ratio, those large tires will certainly hurt your overall performance. I had 245's on with the stock rear end gear of 3:55, but now I run those same tires with a proper rear end gear - 4.10:1.

That 4.6 is a bit weak if bolted to an auto trans and big tires and having to push that 4x4 iron. It can certainly be improved with enough money and time.

Save your money for a good intake, exhaust, pulleys, e-fans, headers and tuning. Then it will move nicely.

Yeah I just found out that the intake on my truck was hurting performance but not as much as my gears were. I have the worst gears ever 3.31. I think there open diff but they might be limited slip not sure. My stock tire size was 235/70/16. They make 4x2 with bigger tires and gears why would they make a fully loaded XLT with these gears and tires. My 265/75/16's are just killing my truck thats for sure.

Fordzilla

those 3.31's are killing you for sure. I'd consider 4.10's or larger still.
