Lightning acc. serpentine belt problem

Angry Lightning acc. serpentine belt problem

Hi
i recently bought a wrecked 2002 lightning and as im replaceing parts i see that the accecery serpentine belt is gone, got ripped off in tha accident so i bought the new belt almost got it on and ..... the bottom crank pully has a houseing persay around which holds the pulley for the supercharger. Does n e one know how the stupid thing comes off plezz help me ???

I don't really understand what you are refering to. Do you want to remove the lower blower pulley?

Search "remove pulley" in the Lightning section and you'll get pages of results. Removing the caged crank pulley for the supercharger is commonly discussed there.

i have already removed the lower blower pulley but in order to put on the new serpentine belt to run the accesorys i think the braket which holds the lower blower pully has to be removed, unless theres another way??

remove cage

to put belt on acc.drive you must remove the cage. you stated that you had removed the pulley.removing the pulley is the hard part.to keep from doing this every time you want to change the belt most after market pulleys are cageless. ben
