Will a re-flash on a 01 5.4 w/ 123K gain any benefits in performance, mileage, etc? Airforce one & magnaflow SIDO exhaust, 2wd, new mc plugs, fuel filters, orig o2 sensors, Chevron 87 for last 10 k/ 6 months. Anyone tried it or know what it might do?

NO.

Reflashes are intended to address specific operating deficiencies in the original programming.

If you're serious about increasing performance, Troyer's tuners are highly recommended. Increased perfromance will cost you more in premium fuel.

What he said.
You could try changing your O2 sensors, with that many miles on em its probably a good time to change them.

Thanks,
I know it will not increase it over stock, but it is 5 years old w/ 123K & I was wondering if Ford has improved or tweaked their settings to make it better.

Oh yeah, I would love to have the Troyer X-cal. I just want to get all I should have out of it.

Thanks again,

I don't think the dealer will have any updates available or may even want to update your vehicle. I own an 05 that I took for a specific TSB requiring a reflash and they said there wasn't sucha thing. But as they said before the reflash is to address specific issues that has arisen on a newly purchased vehicle, not one with so much mileage. A tuner would definitely give you some increase and adjustability and makes things run at their most efficient. JMO
