While the jury is still out on the 4.9, or 300 six, I don't doubt there may be several stoties projecting from 1/2 million miles......

 

I have 360,000 miles on a 4.9 staright 6......original clutch....purrs like a kitten....trying to find out why...it hesitates in the higher RPMs.....please any suggestions.....these motors were designed for the government....to power generaters...on air craft carriers...is my understanding.....thanks for any help you can give....
