Well, since most of us here are on the mile schedule, 5000km is 3105 miles. Its not abnormal to burn that much. I usually burn through 2 quarts in 3000 miles. Ford considers this normal. Check it more frequently, and continue with your 5000KM service interval and you shouldn't have any issues

2 quarts between oil changes isnt normal.

His truck is new????

My 2004 has NEVER needed oil between changes.

I dont even think it burns half a quart between oil changes.

According to Fords specs, anything less than 1 quart per 900 miles is normal.

I'm checking my oil every 2nd day, So far oil level is at correct level after I added a Lt ...due to be changed soon. Possibly the Ford Tech's did not add the correct amount at my last oil change, or the truck is using oil. to soon to tell.....at a drive threw my truck is louder than a power stroke, The sound of ticking, tappet, injectors, is bounced off the side of a drive threw is louder than a power stroke, at idle, my 04 5.4 is louder than my dad's 06 6.0

Ditto. The official Ford spec is 1 quart in 900 miles is considered "normal". They won't do anything about oil consumption if it's anything less than that.
