Denso Iridium Gap Suggestions?

I am going to install the Denso Iridium IT-16 spark plugs in my 01 5.4L. I have researched and found that the plugs come gapped at 0.44 and the Ford manual says to run a 0.54 gap. Some people regap and some don't. Mike Troyer said something about gapping your plugs due to humidity. I will be changing my spark plug wires also.

Should I regap my plugs? And to what size?

Not sure how you change "spark plug wires" on a COP setup (Coil On Plug)...

Sorry, can't help on the gap either, as I've got plugs that don't need to be gapped.....

I guess I'm not much help at all on this post....

Hi.

I'll assume you saw this:

..looks like 0.040 to 0.044 inches to me.
I live in a humid environment too. It's what I run.

Cheers

Thanks,

I guess I will just leave them as they are and see what happens.
