My heater core has gone bad, could anyone help me out by giving me some instruction on how to swap it out. It's cold as heck out and i cant run my heater, thanks very much.- Johnny

Hahahahahahahahahaha, you got the wrong body style to do this job. Not to bad on the pre 97s, but to do it on the 97+s it is a full day job. ENTIRE dash has to come out. I knew it would be bad when it starts with remove fuse panel cover... Spent all morning tearing it out. Not to much time on the actuall heater core. Then the rest of the day putting it all back together.

when my ex wife got the truck in the divorce ( the first 1997 f150 i had) the heater core went after she got it. i believe she told me the ford dealership charged her 700.00 to do it. yes god does work in good ways to.

 

I hope he grants me something, looks like it's going to be a nightmare. I'm going to start on it in the morning, i've got two days to play with so hopefully i should git er done. Pray for me fellas, i'm going to need it.- Johnny
