Ive seen dress up kits on 4.6 V-8's and other cars and trucks! They do make them but I'm not to sure of the price though, there not cheep.

They do however look very nice though! If I had the money, I'd do it to my engine too! Maybe that mod will come later on, but for now, I'll stick to my dull ugly looking engine lol

well thanks for the info on the carbon fiber kit, but ill have to agree with adrainspeeder the cf kit would look rather ricey. what im looking for is a polished or chrome set of cam covers, a better throttlebody cover. make it shine like you could with non modular v8. or maybe even a painted set. is there a good way to paint that stuff?

The Carbon Fiber would look ricey, but I would love to slap some chrome under my hood too. I've seen people paint some of the plastic covers, but I'm not sure how they did it, I wouldn't do it but then again I have a black truck so there isn't any reason to color match it now.

Lightbulb

i quess it would be rather fruitless to paint it if your truck is black. But just about an hour after my last post on this thread, i got a call from a buddy of mine that i served in the marines with. he's a ford freak and he told me that BBK makes a dress up kit for the mustang and the trucks that isnt carbon fiber. its polished aluminum. i have been searching the web for it for quite a while without prevail. he seem to think it cost in the neighborhood of about 6 to 7 bills for the compleat set including: cam covers, tb cover, hose braids, batt cover, fuse box covers and so on. like i said, i havent found anything on the web so dont quote me on any of this. just thought maybe i could spur some attention towards this subject and see if there could be a collective effort on all who is interested's part
