Engine Hesitation

I have a 2001 Ford Expedition with the 4.6
It has about 73000 miles.
I have had it for a little over a year now.
When I first bought it, it had a slight hesitation that seemed to go away once the engine warmed up.
Now the hesitation is constant.
I have replaced the fuel and air filters with no change.
However when I run high test gas it seems to help it.
Any suggestions?

Could be one of the following:

1. Spark plugs
2. Plugged EGR ports in TB
3 EGR Valve
4. DPFE Sensor
4. Coils

I would change plugs, then remove TB to clean EGR ports.

Really sounds like clogged EGR ports...but I'd change plugs at 73,000 anyway.
If that doesn't work, come back, and we'll go to the next steps. Good luck.
