7.3 s belt and pully, shredding belts, help?

On my 99 F350 with the 7.3 Diesel, I am shredding the serpentine belt. The AC condensor pully is about 3/8 inch out of alignment, and as a result, the belt rides up and over the lip of the pully about the same 3/8 of an inch.

Can anyone give me any insight into fixing this, do I need to get a new compressor all together, or can I adjust the one I have? Can I buy a new pully? Etc Etc.

Thanks,

TT

In the day when those trucks were new Ford had enough service bullitins on fixing belt problems that you could make good reading for a month. at that time we installed new complete mounting bracket differant pulleys shimmed the crankshaft pulley out differant belts etc. Once in a while you could get one to last a few thousand miles. I would check with a ford diesal tech and see what is avalable and cost efective at this time. The brackets were the best fix but were extreamly expensive.
