Help

I have a 1992 F150 truck when I try to start it just makes a clicking noise. Bought a new battery that wasn't it. Bought a side selanod the one that is mounted on the the side of the truck. That wasn't the problem, bought a new starter the wasn't the problem .I don't know what's wrong the only way I can get it to start is my pushing it and poping the clutch.
I sure would be greatful if someone has a clue.

Bad cables or ground.
The solenoid clicking is the inital voltage from the battery pulls the solenoid in then the load drops the voltage and it releases and the cycle starts all over again.

the clicking is the starter solenoid or starter relay. it sounds like not enough voltage is getting to it to fully engage. assuming the voltage is correct then check the connection and cables for corrosion or looseness. if you think a cable is bad. bypass it with a jumper cable to see if its the problem. check the ground cables also. if the cables are ok then it may be the starter.
you can take the starter off to get it tested.

Same thing happened to me when I rebuilt my mustang. The battery power wire was corroded inside the insulation 6 inches down the line. Check your cables, and you may as well replace them both since everything else is new now
