Mac intake vs K&N

This is my first post guys so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I've been debating on which cold air intake to purchase. With so many to choose from, I wanted some decent feedback.Any pros and cons on the Mac or K&N. I also have purchased a Magna flow 3" exhaust system. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

K&N is probably the most popular, followed by AirForceOne and AirAid. I know there are a few people running the MAC, Ive never heard anything bad about it.

Any of them will do the same job, I would just go by which one you like the looks of more, or which one is cheaper.

I had a K&N for a while, and liked it a lot.
One of the sponsoring vendors, Mike Troyer, has tested many and he strongly recommends the AF1 after much testing.
Do a search of the Chips forum and read what hundreds have said about it.

Thanks for the tips! All of the intakes range in price and most of the look the same. My guy at the 4x4 shop swears by the Mac and it's alittle cheaper than the K&N. Any thoughts about the Magna flow?

I have the K&N and Highly recomend it. Big difference in sound and the power increase was noticeable.

K & N

I recently installed a K & N FIPK Gen. II and a flowmaster 40 series exhaust on my 2001, F150 5.4L, 4 x 4 and I am pleased to say it has made a noticeable improvement in mileage, power and sound.
