Spark plug problem?
Spark plug problem?
I have an 89 f-150 and i just changed the plugs with Bosch 2 electrode plugs. it now runs horrible. It will idle fine but when you take off it spudders and coughs unless its at high rpm. Are these the wrong type of plugs for these trucks? Any help will be appreciated.
I like Bosch plugs, and have not ever had a problem with them, either you did not connected a wire plug correctly, or you have a non-functioning wire. Bosh plugs are good at least in my truck have work always, but I admit I went with Motorcraft wires and plugs last time
The Mod engines like Bosch plugs, the pushrod engines hate them. I've found Champion Truck plugs work best in my truck, but you'll be fine with bone stock Motorcraft or Autolite plugs. If you spend more than a buck a plug, you're wasting your money.
