In my constant search to find my next perfect truck I came across an ad for a 2002 King Ranch F-150 with a, "Flex Fuel" 5.4. I have heard this term before but I am unsure what exactly it is. Is this an alternative fuel engine? All the HP and TQ ratings were still the same, but is it really the same thing as a "regular" 5.4?

Power and what not should be the same. The only thing different is the "Flexfuel" engine can take Ethanol with out screwing up the inside of your engine, or fuel system.
