reset computer?

I have been reading the forums on the air intake....

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=213255

My question is, well i have a 94 f150 5.8 that i put a K&N FIPK kit in it a few months back...but everyone talks about reseting the computer by disconecting that battery. I never did when installed this..do i really need to? Is there any advantage to reseting the computers memory?

After a couple of months, don't bother.
