We just started carrying E3 spark plugs where I work. They're suppost to give you better gas milage and power by providing a more complete combustion. Anyone ever heard of these?

A basic plug will do the same. the only gains you will get are if the old plugs are worn out.

 

ya, im guessing you work a shucks or something like that- i was just there today to get a new gasket for my dune buggy's engine and i saw those. they are a joke. have you seen the dual and tripple point plugs made by companise like bosch? same thing. they will do nothing for you but make yor wallet lighter. total BS. dont waste your money.

 

I work at Bennet Auto Supply and with my discount they only run me about $3 a plug. I might try em anyway, if they suck I'll just go back to NGK Iridiums. You guys ever try the AC Delco Iridiums? I have some in my camaro and they run really nice.

 

ok, if you really want to, its your money. NGKs are nice, but i have found (as well as read from other people) that the best all around performing plug for these engines is just the stock Motorcraft ones. as for price, $3 a plug? i get 4 NGKs for that price at my local Schmucks! go ahead and try 'em if you realy want to though.

 

They have been selling those E3 enviornmental plugs at lowes for lawnmowers for years. They are, well like he said
