Spark plug shot out while driving

I have a 97 5.4, and it just turned 170,000 miles. 2 plug changes, and no problems. Don't sell your truck. I wouldn't exactly say this is common, but it can happen. They sold so many of these trucks, it only seems like it happens alot.

I'm going to change my plugs at 50,000 as a preventive measure. I figure, taking them out and installing new ones will allow me to re-torque them properly and maintain my good performance. To re-torque properly, you should back off the plug, then torque. By the time you get that far, you might as well replace the plugs.
