supercharged f150

i was wondering if anyone out there has seen, done, or heard of somone putting a 2000 ford lightning, or one of the same style, supercharger on a 4.6L f150...now im almost positive that the lightning is a 5.4L and was jsut wondering how hard it would be to put the supercharger off the lightning onto my 4.6L f150... thanks for any help

It wouldn't work. The 5.4L is wider and the intake system from the Lightning won't fit on the 4.6L. You would want to look at getting the supercharger system off of a Cobra, since it uses the 4.6L.

Also, give the supercharger/turbocharger section of the forums a visit, there are other options available.

Contrary to the other post it will work. It has been done. not easy but has been done. Post this in the Supercharger/ turbo forum will get you the results you want. The easiest and probably most cost efective thing to do if you want Lightning Power is buy an entire lightning motor. They can be found on e-bay quite easily. The cost really is not as bad as you may think check it out.
