havent seen this discussion in awhile. would the new 5.4 spank the 5.3. Both regular cab 3.73s LS and all. Any good racing stories!!!!

 

Yes it would, I have a 04 SCAB W/ 5.4L. I took out an 04 chevy ext cab by a good 15 feet he had duals and bigger tires but I have the same so it can be don2004 FX4 e.

 

Yes.... I raced one at the track. Pulled him pretty hard though he did start gaining ground right before the qtr was up. Beat him by a couple truck lengths. We both had about the same mods.... both reg cab 2wds. On the other hand I had my **** handed to me twice by a guy w/ an x-cab 5.3......... but he had a turbo (it was ugly)
