I only owned american cars in the past so you are probably right but as for american cars they are no good.

I was going to comment on my experience with the Bosch + 4 plugs in my truck, but since this topic gets real personal real fast, I'll probably just leave it at that.....

Oh, what the heck.... I've had no issues at all with the +4's in over 88,000 miles and over 4 years of service in my 5.4 F150.......

I know I'm in the minority on this, but it's nice to know that 100% of Bosch plugs in an F150 is not necessarly a bad thing....

OK, I'll bite.....

I changed my factory plugs at 72K (97 5.4) with Motorcraft. I had a real b%%tch of a time because someone told me not to take the fuel rails off because they would leak when I put them back on. I wasn't in any hurry to go through that experience again! I finally changed the plugs again last weekend at 204K. The truck ran fine, I just figured I couldn't reasonably wait too much longer. In addition to the plugs, I bought O-ring kits for the fuel injectors becuase I was not going through that pain again with the plugs. To my surprise, It was much easier to change the plugs without the fuel rails in the way. I put the new O-rings on the injectors, but the old ones were still in good shape. The O-ring kits were only 5 bucks apiece anyway, and two kits did the trick. The plugs I took out were in surprisingly good shape for over 130K on them.

I guess this would be my plug for using the Motorcraft plugs........

or what do you rcommend.

The Bosch platinums work just fine in a 4.6L. I've used them for years in Ford 4.6L trucks with ZERO problems.
