Wow, I just got back from taking my truck for a spin after cleaning the MAF. I had no idea it would make that big of a difference. I took apart the maf, sprayed it liberally with electrical cleaner, wiped the wires carefully with a clean towel.. let dry, re-assembled.

Before, it really seemed like a dog, I couldn't spin the tires even if I floored it at a stoplight. Now, the tires get roasted at 1/2 throttle.. awesome. Of course the cooler morning air may have helped too. Its just now starting to get cooler outside. hmm, either way, it seems to be running a lot better now. 158,000 miles.... dont know if the maf has ever been cleaned or replaced before
