code P0307 ???

code P0307 ???

P0307- guy at autozone said this was cylinder #7 misfire... i have a 97 f150 4.6L... i replaced the plug, but it did no good, gonna change the wires this evening and if that doesn't work, the coil pack....

does anyone have any other ideas?

If you have over 100,000 miles on them, you're overdue for plugs and wires anyway. Might as well change them. Same for the coil packs. They become less effective over time. Some think they need to be replaced every 50 to 60K miles. Check troyerperformance.com he has good prices on them.

Make sure you get the correct plug, #7 is second from the back on the drivers side.
