In my opinion, I don't think that they will improve anything besides bosch's sales if you buy them. Stick with the Motorcraft Platinums that Ford designed the engine for.

Just my opinion though,

Motorcraft

I spoke to many mechanics before I switched my plugs. None of them had anything nice to say about Bosch of any flavor. They say stick with motorcraft or expect to see trouble.

The 4 pin Bosch plugs, like the Splitfires, are a marketing gimmick.

Stick with the recommended Motorcraft or Autolite replacement unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing.

Whatever the Bosch plugs cost, they aren't worth it.

I have used NGK's for the past 10 years without any issues what so ever.
Used them in the Lightning, Cobra, '01 SCrew, and now the '04 SCrew.
