F-150 Won;t Start

1995 F-150 4x4 - 4.9l (300cid) won't start...

am i right in assuming that since the distributor cap connection wire was pulled from the coil and a screwdriver held about 1 cm away and the engine turned over, no spark....does the indicate the coil is bad? What else can I check....also, anyone know the schemtics for the fuses under the engine hood?

thanks in advance

I would say that that is not the only thing that could be wrong. The ignition module was notorious in the late 80's but don't know about a 95. If the module is not working I don't think the coil will hit either. I may be wrong about that though I remember working on an 86 LTD that i watched my dad actually stick his finger on the coil after trying the screwdriver thing and it was dead. Ignition module solved the problem.

hope that helps.
