i have a o5 screw with 800 miles been to shop to get sluggish respone service said all normal no codes i asked them to reflash the system they said they cannot with out a code comming up.is this true,well the truck is back in the shop today for a/c not working front end promblem and rough idle and poor fuel mileage and ,see what they say this time with it,any help thanks

 

What you need to do is go in and tell them you have a throttle lag and they need to reflash your PCM due to a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) that is out on this. Tell them TSB 04-21-14 is the one. I can send you a copy e-mail if you like. Drop me a note at w6lar@arrl.net and I will return a copy to you.

This way they can't say no to your request. If they do, then go to another dealer. To check after they do a reflash they are supposed to place a sticker under the hood that tells the version they reflashed to. This is required by law as the PCM comes under emissions standards.

PS: I just realized you have an '05 and this TSB is for an '04 but it still may be valid. Its worth a try.
