Gas Mileage

I have a 2000 Ford F150 4x4 supercab 5.4. I am getting 10 to 12 mpg. 81000 miles. IS this the norm? What can I do to help? Thanks in advance.

Well I was getting 14 now I'm down to 10 MPG on my truck it has 94900+ miles on it with original plugs i was hoping to get the 100k out of them but it looks like i will have to change them early.
