lower intake gasket making 2 cylinders not to fire??????????????????????????

i thought that when i had water in my oil it was a no brainer.........head gasket.

but when i talked to some guys here they said it would be my lower intake gasket
i also talked to the guy i bought the truck from and he said the same
the truck was missing on the back to passenger side cylinders
this is the tricky part(to me)
i took off my upper and lower intake manifolds
then i inspected the gasket of the lower one
the gasket around the water jacket was busted BUT the water jacket is over the front cylinder NOT the middle or back
so how in the world did that cylinder fire?
why did the back and the middle one not fire?
is it a blown head gasket and i just got lucky on the front cylinder?

I’m going to try this because no-one else has. Knowing the structure of the engine I don’t know how water can get into the oil from a leaky intake gasket. You can hydro-loc the engine but the water is usually confined to the intake side of the engine, above the rings.
If the cylinders were not firing at all then I guess it’s possible but... Most likely you have a bad head gasket or a cracked head.
My advice is to replace the intake gasket and fire-it-up. If everything is OK then you’re fixed. If not then look further, I.E. head gasket.
Good luck.
