Fuel Gauge on 2005 f150 supercrew

When gas tank is full, fuel gauge needle stops before the "F" mark. Does not seem right. I would think it would go past this mark. Dealer checked the gauges and said nothing was wrong. They were supposed to pull tank but I guess they ran out of time. Will take it to another dealer since it's still under warranty.
Anyone else notice this?

shouldnt be a problem with the tank or float in the tank would be in the cluster itself... but if it aint broke dont fix it... if the gauge still reads accuratly dont worry about it if it stops right before the F mark. if it still reards 3/4 of a tank 1/2 a tank and 1/4 tank accuratly dont worry about it

You have a good point, but I'm kind of **** about things like this, especially a new truck. I'll probably just let it go.
Thanks for your reply.

u could just see if its sticking pull the cluster out and pull the plastic cover off should be 6 or more screws holding it on and see if the needle is just stuck... but to much effort for something like that

My bet is the float arm got bent on assembley. I have a warantee and I would use it if I were in your shoes.
