TPS (issue)
TPS (issue)
I was reading that TPSv should be roughly .99
I got bored and checked it, .54v, I tried adjusting it and snapped of a head of the torx screw while trying to loosen it. The other screw is tight and the TPS isnt going any were.
I am an idiot
Im already half way there but the torx screws are so tight its unbelievible and i am not gonna give up

HI!... Use a pair of the small vise grips and grab the TPS screw head sideways. This will give you the grip and pressure needed to break the bolt free. Ford's puts loktite on the TPS bolts. Sometimes you will have to enlarge the TPS mounting holes to get the TPS to move enough to adjust it to 0.98-0.99 volts. DO NOT go over 0.99 volts.

Used torx for top screw, snapped head off (ruined torx socket)
Took TB off, used vice grips and couldnt get the second bolt off, so i sawed it off.
Using vise grips with the exposed threads i snapped both screws again. Those things are in there so good its not even funny.
Im just gonna order a new TB for 60bucks that includes motor and TPS so i can port the TB so there is no downtime.
Thank you though
