Recomendations Needed as well as reasons..
First off I have been a lurker here for some time now and decided it's time to post up a few questions.
Currently I drive a 2003 F150 Supercrew Lariat FX4 4x4 with a 5.4 ltr. It sports a 3" body lift, 385/70/17 BFG TKO's on a set of Ultra 17x8 wheels. It also sports a catback Flowmaster 40 muffler with 3" in and 2 1/4" out duals (no "boom" tips for me just chrome 2 1/4" tips, nice mellow sound). Prior to the muffler upgrade I was getting about 12.5 mpg now I get about 14 mpg. This has been the average for the last 4 tanks of gas, 87 octane. Though MPG is not that much of an issue at this point however always a nice plus when making mods.
This truck sees its fair share of off road use in sand, mud, ice and snow and rocky southwest texas terrain. It also sees alot of hwy miles. I currently have 86K on it and going strong. I do tow trailers every now and then but nothing over 7K lbs. It is a truck ya know. This is also my daily driver to and from work.
A few things I want to do is put an electric fan on and cool air system then maybe a chip programmer.
Electric Fan I was looking at was the Flex-a-lite 270. I like the dual fan setup and dual speeds of the fans as sometimes while off roading it can run a little warmer than normal and if one fan fails I still have the other to limp home on. I can also add a manual switch to totally shut the system off when crossing deep creeks or other water that may push thru the radiator.
Any Pro's or Con's? I have heard that they DID fix the fuse holder problem and the Controler box that has been shorting out can be solved by placing a dab of silicon over the temp adjustment screw thus sealing the box (per conversation with the MFG). I planed on using a ruber plug.
Cool Air intake I have been torn over. I have looked at K & N and then Looked at Air Raid and I'm leaning more towards the Air Raid system as I think it is better built but also costs a few dollars more.
Any Pro's or Con's there?
Chip programers? I have looked at the superchip 1715 and like the ability to custom tune the truck within 10 minutes even if I add other accessories or take them if they don't perform the way I espect them too.
Any others? Pro's or Con's?

Check with Trower performance, he has an excelant fan kit with dual controlers extra redundancy and very quite fans, he also has excelant custom tuning better than the 1715 will provide and anythin else you might want to add. He has package deals and excelant customer service. Also discounts for F150 forums subscribers.
