Truck started skipping and the Check Engine light came on. I have a cheep ODBII reader and it pulled the codes listed int the thread title. The book I have only lists the P0354 (Ignitian coil 4 primary error fault) and does not list the 735, 181, or the E538. I have tried the search on these and the 181 turned up as "call the dealer" in the only result that came up. Does anyone have a listing for the 735, 181, or the E538?

First time I have had the code reader on this truck so some of these codes may have been stored prior to the #4 coil crapping out. I have parked it until I can get another coil (may try re-seating #4 to see if it clears up the problem).

I installed new pugs about 10K ago and the #4 was a PIA. The truck has 85K on it now.

Cleared the codes and pulled #4 coil pack. There was crud all around the ouside of the bottom of the boot and spring was retracted about 1/4 inch up inside the boot. I blew out the plug hole and streached the spring to where it hung out side of the boot about 1/4 inch. Coated the boot in dielectric grease and re-installed. Fired it up and the skip was gone.

I ran it today with no issues and check for codes this evening and there were none. I would still like to know what the other codes are for.
