302 Rpm Redline

Hey, I have a 1985 Ford F-150 Lariat 302 Fuel Injected step side short wheel base 3 speed overdrive. I was wondering if anyone knew what the redline is? and what horsepower it has?. So far I only found out it makes 190hp and 285ftlbs. Thanks

Thumbs up

Probably 4500rpm to 5000rpm max...

HP isn't 190, hell my '88 was rated at 185hp stock.

The peak hp is at about 4200 on those engines.
The cam has short timing events to make better low end torque.
Cam is flat tappet. FI is batch fire. Fan belts are the old V type.

Had my 92 to a hair over 5K, but it was falling onto itself there and I needed to shift.

Edit: Bluegrass, I just saw you live in easton. My dad grew up there and my grandfather lives on southside. I visit often!

Adrian, how did you recognize me?
Red super crew maybe?
Tee shirt with a bluegrass logo on the front?
I live on the mountain just accross the big bridge and a little west of south side.
Sat nite at Silver Spring speedway. Sprinter #27. Where just getting into it and working out handling problems. Our Ford has a lot of power and the only other Ford powered car is the points leader. The rest are all Chev power.
Take care.
