Air Force One intake problem

Cleaned my intake filter the other day and noticed that the rubber boot of the filter was gummy and starting to crumble. It also has real faint cracks that look like a tire that has dry rot. It is approx. 2 1/2 years old. Anyone else ever have this problem? Thanks

honestly, dont they make replacement filters? or do they have an outrageous price for them or something? id figure if it got too bad id buy a new one and burn the old one for fun.
