1992 engine size???
Does it have 6 cylinders or 8? If it has 6, it will be a 300 cubic-inch 4.9 liter I-6. If it has 8, it is either a 302 cubic-inch 5.0 liter V-8, or a 351 cubic-inch 5.8 liter V-8.

Just look under the hood. The 6 cylinder is an inline 6. If the exhaust is still from the factory, the 5.8 will have daul exhaust tips out the side. It you have the V8s just look at the top of the intake, it will say either 5.0 or 5.8
This Website has a lot of Car specifications. Such as Engine sizes, Etc.

Just go to the Used Car Search, Find yours. Click on the Specifications tab once you get there. And it should have everything you need to know.

Welcome Eaglejake05! The 300 (4.9L) inline six is long and in a line. It will have six sparkplug wires, and six intake "tubes" on top of the engine.
The 302 (5.0L) V8 looks like this...

Hard to tell in that pic of my 92, but there are 8 "tubes" coming out of the large block that says 5.0
Those are the two choices of engines if you have a manual tranny (the M5OD) or the auto tranny AOD (PRN(D)D1) and no overdrive lockout switch on the shifter.
If it is an E4OD auto tranny (PRN(D)21) and has an overdrive lockout switch on the shifter, it could be the above two engines or the 351 (5.8L). It looks the same as the 302, but says 5.8 instead.
